What is a Unit Deposit Account (UDA)?
A Unit Deposit Account is an account within the Black Pug system that units can deposit funds into to be used for payment of camp reservations and activities that are processed within the Black Pug system.
Who may access your UDA?
The Unit Controller is the person who can (1) access your online unit account and (2)the person who can access the UDA. Each Unit Controller should review the persons listed in their account and update them for accuracy. Legacy leaders may still be permitted access to your accounts, so be sure to review their access. The unit upload process adds key 3 members but does not remove any user added manually by the unit. The unit Committee Chair is automatically registered as the unit controller.
How may funds be used?
Funds can be used to pay for campsite and cabin rentals at Mitigwa Scout Reservation through our online registration system.
Unit leaders who are given access by their unit can pay for registrations through the Black Pug event registration system. Units are able to collect funds at a local level for events and move funds from their unit accounts to their UDA to pay for their event registrations.
To utilize the account:
Ensure you are registered to use your account with your unit. The Controller can grant individuals access to make payments using the UDA unit. If you have access, you must ensure that you are logged into Black Pug using the same email that the unit and council have on file.
